Nail Art for Muslim Women

-->

  Coloring nails with a lacquer is not a muslim tradition. So does polishing them.

  Moreover, the lacquer prevent the nails to be cleansed by ablution.

  Instead of coloring, nail extensions are also prohibited in Islam because it was to change Allah’s creation.
  Unfortunately, nail polish causes more than admiring glances. Regular commercial polish is full of dangerous chemicals that pose serious health threats to humans.

TOLUENE
Toluene is used as a solvent in nail polish, meaning that it dissolves other chemicals to create a solution. It's a dangerous chemical that causes birth defects in animals, affects the central nervous system and is fatal if swallowed.

FORMALDEHYDE
Formaldehyde is another solvent with a hefty health risk attached: It's a known carcinogen, which means that it causes cancer, no question. The fumes of formaldehyde are irritating to mucus membranes in the eyes, nose and throat.

ETHYL ACETATE
Ethyl acetate evaporates from the nail, which causes the polish to dry and harden. This means that you're breathing in the fumes from the chemical as your manicure sets. This solvent can pass through the skin, and prolonged exposure to the fumes can lead to lung, heart, kidney, and liver damage.

BUTYL ACETATE
Butyl acetate is also a solvent used in nail polishes; it's toxic, and causes irritation to eyes, skin and lungs.

DIBUTYL PHTHALATE
Phthalates are easily absorbed chemicals that keep nail polish chip-free. The European Union has banned them, but they're legal in the United States. They're linked to early puberty in girls, low sperm count in men, sexual deformities and problems with fetal development.

PHTHALIC ANHYDRIDE
Dibutyl phthalate is often replaced with phthalic anhydride, which isn't much better. This chemical is also a major health concern. It may be toxic to human immune and respiratory systems, and can cause cancer, organ damage, and membrane irritation.

  However, for a married Muslim woman, henna is allowed to be used to throne themselves as a wife.

Plus, henna has its own advantages in which it can strengthen our nails. The henna does not coat the nails but it was absorbed as it was left by several hours during the procedure of using it. Therefore our ablutions are said to be perfect even if a woman wears henna, unlike the nail lacquer.

  Also we are not allowed to keep our nails grow long. Immediately cut off the nails when it has grown long.

  Islam has given a period of 40 days to keep their nails long. If it was more than 40 days, then we must cut it.

Kisah Cinta Rasulullah & Siti Aisyah: act 1

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Suatu hari, ada sahabat Rasulullah yang pandai masak telah memasak makanan yang enak-enak lalu dia ke rumah Rasulullah untuk meminta Baginda merasa makanan tu..
Lalu Rasulullah bertanya kepadanya "ini bagaimana?" sambil mengisyaratkan Aisyah di sisinya. Maka sahabat pun jawab "tidak".
Rasulullah pun jawab "saya pun tidak mahu".
Sahabat tu pun balik. Tapi, dia datang semula ke rumah baginda. Walaubagaimanapun, dia ajak lagi...
Rasulullah tanya lagi kepadanya. "ini bagaimana?" masih lagi mengisyaratkan pada Aisyah. Sahabat itu masih dengan jawapan yang sama.
Dan Rasulullah terus menjawab, memberi jawapan yang sama juga; "saya pun tidak mahu".
Sudah 3 kali sahabat tu ulang alik, tetapi Rasulullah masih menolak sebab Aisyah tak diajak sekali.
Akhirnya, barulah sahabat mengalah dan dijemputnya sekali Aisyah. Setelah sahabat tadi pulang, Rasulullah dan Aisyah bergegas bangun sambil dorong-mendorong "ayuh, kamu dulu.. kamu dulu"
All About Dogs
"The Prophet said; Angels do not enter a house which has either a dog or a doll in it."
Why dogs are prohibit in Islam? All of us know that Muslims are not allowed to touch dogs. But maybe most of us didn't know the reasons.
Actually, Muslims can touch dogs... with only one thing in which the person and the dog cannot be in a wet condition during contact.
Similar to pig, dog are categorised as 'mughalazah' waste.
According to the Medical Dictionary of Laros Medical, among of the harmful disease comes from the worms and viruses found in dog intestines. The disease can be transferred to humans through the contact with dogs' food bowl, because the dog's nose, mouth and the surrounding areas act as a place to carry the viruses. The viruses then seep into human skin which result in skin diseases & rabies. The worst thing of all, it can be fatal! In India, approximately 15 million people died due to the diseases that came from dogs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

However, dogs can be kept for certain purpose. It can be pet for hunting, guarding livestock or even protecting crops. Blind Muslims can even pet dogs to help them in their daily lives as blind people are dependent.

This hadith narrated by Muslim (1574): “Whoever keeps a dog, except a dog for hunting or herding livestock, his reward will be decreased by two qeeraats every day.”

Conclusion: Islam prohibits dog because they can cause severe diseases to humans. However certain conditions has allowed Muslims to pet dogs.
